Reuven Hammer

Reuven Hammer was a distinguished American-Israeli rabbi and scholar, renowned for his expertise in Jewish liturgy. Born in New York, he later became a prominent figure in Israel, where he played a key role in establishing the Masorti movement, a Conservative Jewish organization. As a leader in this movement, Hammer served on its beit din, a rabbinical court that oversees matters of Jewish law and tradition.
