Pinchas Menachem Alter was a prominent figure in the Hasidic dynasty of Ger, serving as its seventh rebbe from 1992 until his passing in 1996. Prior to his appointment as rebbe, he held the position of Rosh Yeshiva from 1956, demonstrating his commitment to Jewish scholarship and education.
