Kalman Ber

Rabbi Kalman Meir Ber is a prominent figure in Israeli Judaism, currently serving as the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel. Born on December 24, 1957, he has held various esteemed positions throughout his career. Prior to his current role, he served as the rabbi of Netanya, a city in Israel, where he provided spiritual guidance to the local community.

As a respected rabbinical leader, Rabbi Ber has also been associated with Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh, a renowned institution of Jewish learning. In addition to his role as Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi, he holds the position of President of the Chief Rabbinate Council, further solidifying his influence in Israeli Jewish affairs.
