Éric Schwab

Éric Schwab was a French photojournalist, whose career spanned multiple decades and various fields, including art and journalism. Born in 1910, Schwab developed a passion for photography, which would eventually lead him to become a prominent figure in the industry. His work took a significant turn in 1944 when he began working for Agence France-Presse (AFP), a renowned news agency.

Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Schwab's photography skills were utilized by several United Nations organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO). His work as a war correspondent and photojournalist allowed him to capture significant events and stories, leaving a lasting impact on the field of photography. Schwab passed away in 1977, leaving behind a legacy of captivating images and a notable career that showcased his dedication to his craft.
