Art Spiegelman

Art Spiegelman is a renowned American cartoonist born in 1948. He is professionally recognized for his influential work in the field of comics, particularly with his graphic novel Maus. Spiegelman's career has been marked by his contributions as a co-editor for notable comics magazines, including Arcade and Raw, which have had a significant impact on the industry.

As a talented artist, Spiegelman has also had a long-standing association with The New Yorker, serving as a contributing artist from 1992 for over a decade. His personal life is marked by his marriage to designer and editor Françoise Mouly, with whom he has a daughter, writer Nadja Spiegelman.
